CERG Geo-Ambassador [CGA]

The CERG Geo-Ambassador Program is an initiative designed to empower student volunteers as champions of Earth Science awareness. These ambassadors will serve as vital connectors between CERG and their institutions and local communities, helping to demystify Earth Science and highlight its relevance to everyday life.

Working closely with CERG’s outreach team, ambassadors will be equipped with curated tools, training, and materials to lead impactful activities—ranging from classroom engagements to community events. The program fosters leadership, creativity, and strategic communication, enabling ambassadors to design specialized outreach for diverse audiences.

In its first phase, the program will induct students as nodal representatives, supported wherever possible by faculty coordinators. Future phases will expand to institutions beyond India, building a global network of youth-led Earth Science advocates.

In Phase 1, students from colleges of any stream based across India will be inducted as nodal representatives. The program will later expand to induct anyone who is passionate about Earth Science and has a good local community outreach. In the future it is planned to expand to institutions beyond India, building a global network of youth-led Earth Science advocates.
