Geoquest Enlinea INTERNATIONAL GEODIVERSITY DAY Special Edition

The International Geodiversity Day is here shortly. Take part in our immensely popular Geoscience based Quiz - the Geoquest Enlinea. Test your awareness of the immense Geodiversity around us - rocks, minerals, soil, water, ice and the amazing geological wonders around us.

In this special IGD edition, discover how Geoscience is closely intertwined with human existence. Discover the many facets about Earth and the interplay between natural resources and the environment. Also, get to know more about the amazing geological wonders that exist all around us.

GEOQUEST ENLINEA, is one of a kind series of online quizzes based on the very interesting science of the Earth. As another step in our mission of building awareness of the importance of Earth Science, the quiz series is based on Mother Earth and its wonderful and baffling mysteries and the application of Geosciences in our daily lives.

Brace yourself for the challenge - much bigger and more challenging than the previous episodes. Be prepared to answer some mind-boggling questions and facts about Geoscience and its role in our daily lives.

GUIDELINES

• Participation is free and open to all.
• Participants will require to register and create a user account.
• Participants can use their existing Enlinea login if they have already registered.
• The quiz will consist of approximately 25 to 40 questions and may include pictorial and video-graphic questions.
• Quiz is time bound [9:00 am to 7:00 pm Indian Standard time (IST)] and available globally during these times.

AWARDS

• The top three entries will get attractive certificates.
• All participants who score 70% or above in the quiz will receive a certificate of accomplishment.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

• You need to register to take part in the quiz.
• To register, click on “Register a new account” on the entry screen.
• On the next screen click on “REGISTER” button.
• On the next screen, fill in the required details i.e. email address, custom password etc. and click on Submit.
• Your username is your registered email address. 
• A verification link will be sent to your email address. Click on the link provided in the email to verify your account.  You should get a message ”Email address verified successfully”
• The verification link can only be used once.
• You can now login to the quiz using the “Login to Geoquest Enlinea” button.
• This quiz will only be active during the specified times
• In case you get the message “Invalid verification link”, you will need to register again.
• In case you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot password?” link on login screen and enter your registered email address, then click on “Reset password”. New password will be sent to your registered email address.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE IT FOR THE GEOQUEST ENLINEA.
YOU CAN LOGIN DIRECTLY.

The quiz will be open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Indian Standard time (IST)
