Our team at Geoscience for All was invited to interact with the students of a local school on the National Science day. The aim to celebrate the day is to impart scientific temper in the minds of people of all age group
National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman on 28 February 1928. For his discovery, Sir C.V. Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. .
A very satisfying and fun filled day with the school children at the National Science day celebrations on 28th February 2018 at a local school. When the world is obsessed with Maths & physics, these kids learnt there is something which affects all of us – The Earth we all live on. Nearly three hundred and fifty students interacted with our young facilitators to gain a few learnings on Mother Earth. Thoroughly enjoyable with some good learnings for us too.
